jermaine jackson changes name officially to jermaine jacksun

Michael Jackson's older brother Jermaine has a new, brighter outlook on life.
The 58-year-old Jermaine Jackson is now Jermaine Jacksun, with a "u."
instead of "o" in his name
A Los Angeles judge approved the official change on Friday.
The Jermaine Jackson name change, which he filed the paperwork for
late last year, was sought solely for "artistic reasons," according to
the vocalist.

He insists it has nothing to do with the massive rift in his family
over the care of MJ's children last summer, which he later withdrew
from to a degree.

His attorney, Bret D. Lewis says the newly renamed Jermaine Jacksun is
in Europe performing with his brothers, but hears it's "a sunny day in
California."
