It's official: Carrie Underwood wins this year's Grammy Awards fashion prize.
Not for the outfit this superstar donned on the red carpet, but for the unique one she wore during her performance of "Blown Away" and " Two Black Cadillacs."
Serving as a projector screen, it actually flashes a variety of images during Carrie's time on stage.
"They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days," Underwood said backstage. "We had a dress especially made. I said I should take that home and we can watch movies on it.
Underwood added that she had to stand in a specific spot in the Staples Center to make it all work because the invention "took a lot of precision."
Well worth it, we'd say, though, wouldn't you?
