Mi and mode 9 in trouble as dkn faces duo

The game of rap in Nigeria, though not grown like that of the hip hop genre of music, is emerging. While many rappers in Nigeria struggle to get fame, only few others have achieved that.Even for the few famous rappers in Nigeria, they still want to remain relevant so that they won't be challenged out of the game. Ice Prince seems to be the only most successful commercial rapper in Nigeria at the moment.
While no well-known rapper remains in the hard-core section of rap like Modenine, commercial rap music seems to be the escape route in making rap like dancehall music in Nigeria.
For Black Palace Music artiste known as DKN, he has what it takes to challenge and even surpass Modenine, MI and other top rappers in Nigeria.
At his unveiling in Lagos recently, the rapper, who is a son of a police officer, gave out a stern warning to MI, Modenine and other Nigerian rappers.
He said, "I'm out to challenge them (MI, Modenine and others). They are in trouble, I am the king of rap whether they like it or not. I want to tell them how rap is done."
To DKN, he has all what it takes to challenge other rappers in the industry. He said if he wasn't doing rap, he would have been a footballer but he just wants to do rap to make Nigerians know what rap is in its entirety.
