The cool mobile app which lets music fans stream or download music, enjoy and share news, photos, videos and charts, while creating their own music playlist, is a tool that’ll change the way Nigerians experience music.
Riding on a content partnership with MTV Base and NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT TODAY, STAR MUSIC, according to Marketing Director, Nigerian Breweries, Walter Drenth, is poised to become the home for everything music, and the millions of Nigerians who love the art.
‘It’s a cool, fun way to use and share music content’ adds Mr Drenth, ‘Star consumers love music and entertainment. And STAR MUSIC is another way we’re responding to their yearnings. ’
STAR MUSIC is the first mobile music app in Nigeria, combining Nigerian and international music and news, giving users the opportunity to create and share playlists, and the freedom to choose from a wide range of original, real time content all on the go. And there’s a community of writers made up of Nigeria’s favorite bloggers.
Nicolaas Vervelde, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NB PLC says the company is excited by the introduction of Star Music and by the fact that this will revolutionize the way people use and share music while giving Nigerian musicians a great platform to shine. “We are constantly on the search for new, fun and exciting ways to help Nigerians relax and Star Music promises to become a major part of our lives, just like Nigeria’s number one beer Star Lager.”
