Popular media entrepreneur Alex Okosi along with 19 other Africans have been named as 2013 ‘Young Global Leaders’ by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
Okosi, Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks Africa, beautician Tara Durotoye, music producer Cobhams Asuquo are
some of the distinguished young Nigerians that were honoured with the
title by WEF amongst other distinguished leaders under the age of 40
around the world.
They were recognised for their ‘record
of professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to
contribute to shaping the future of the world through inspiring
leadership’.
They will now become active members of The Forum of Young Global Leaders,
a global network of peers from diverse backgrounds and fields, with the
goal of significantly impacting world affairs and shaping the global
agenda.
